Welcome to the HTC website. The Hoofddorp Table Tennis Club is the table tennis club of Hoofddorp and the surrounding area. A club where young and old enjoy playing their favourite sport. A club that is a member of the Dutch Table Tennis Association (NTTB) and has its own fantastic venue in the centre of Hoofddorp.
HTC is often in the news for its good results. But those results never come at the expense of a good atmosphere. On the contrary, the good atmosphere is exactly what makes the results possible! Read all about it on our website…
HTC's adult members
HTC has a thriving adult section. If you are over 16, you can join one of the adult training sessions and/or the many free play sessions. You can also take on table tennis players from Haarlem, Amsterdam and the surrounding area in the adult competition of the NTTB Holland Noord region.
You can also just come for free play; Monday and Wednesday evenings and Sunday are available for this. Or would you rather play during the day? Every Thursday morning our hall is open for Daytime Recreational Table Tennis (RTO). A special membership fee applies to this activity.
HTC's youth
HTC's youngest members are just as keen as the adults. If you are under 17 and have not played much table tennis yet, you can learn the basic techniques in the starter training sessions (grouped by age). If you have played more often, you can improve your technique in the training sessions for advanced youth players and compete on Saturdays in the NTTB competition.
How strong is HTC?
For some an important question, for others not so much. We are proud that our strongest teams have outgrown the regional competition and are doing well in the national competitions, but we are just as happy with the members who play table tennis at our club for fun. That is why everyone is really welcome at HTC! Young and old, beginners and experienced players, men and women, boys and girls… After all, table tennis is a sport everyone can play into old age!
